About Diane

Diane Couri was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois. Diane received her B.S in Business Management from Millikin University and went on to earn her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan. After Law School, Diane worked in the private sector where she represented banks and landlords in foreclosure and collection matters.  After that, Diane spent nearly four years prosecuting at the Macon County State’s Attorney’s Office.  She prosecuted virtually every type of case; from traffic and DUI cases to First Degree Murder and Attempt Murder cases.  Diane spent the majority of her time prosecuting felonies, sex crimes, and supervising the Traffic and DUI Unit. Diane left the Macon County State’s Attorney’s office in February of 2017 as she wanted to be a voice for those in difficult situations. Diane has a strong desire to fight for clients and those in need of help. Diane understands that every situation and every case is unique and must be treated that way. Diane assists clients in Driver’s License Relief and Reinstatement and Adoptions. In her free time, Diane enjoys helping with her church’s youth group and spending quality time with her husband, children, and extended family. Diane has extensive experience and looks forward to helping you.
